.Welcome !
Spirit Of Sisterhood Inc. was conceived and founded
by Betty J. Murray in 1991 and first presented
in celebration of Women History Month. This unique
organization consists of diverse women and men leading
their own various organizations with the goal of
recapturing and rebuilding the village.
In their mission to elevate the village, they offer inspiring
experiences through , culture, history, information,
resources, wisdom, positive role models and mentorship.
SOS also believes the exposure of different cultures
will inspire an awareness and balance in the lives of the
community. Shared experiences will bring an understanding,
appreciation and respect of each other’s cultural diversity
and knowledge of our commonality. We are pledged and
commitment to the positive development of the community.
We are dedicated to work hard for our youth, our families,
and take responsibility to prepare our village for their
greatness. We are inspired by the journey and leadership of
our illustrious President and First Lady Obama to continue to
take leadership and uplift the community.
